Prajjwal founded Jhunjhunwala Diamonds with a singular vision: to make buying fine diamond jewellery online an experience as joyful, transparent, and personal as the occasion it celebrates. His story began with a deep, lifelong fascination for diamonds and an unwavering belief that the finest jewellery should be accessible to anyone with the heart to wear it.
With over five years of hands-on experience in the diamond industry, Prajjwal brings both technical mastery and genuine creative passion to every piece JJD creates. His gemological education is rooted in the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), where he completed a comprehensive suite of courses.
What made his time at GIA especially formative was that he did not simply study there. He worked there simultaneously as a Diamond Grader, applying in real time what he was learning in the classroom and developing the kind of sharp, practiced eye that only comes from handling thousands of stones. He further enriched his industry perspective through his experience at leading jewellery houses. Together, these experiences gave him something no single credential can confer: a seamless command of diamonds from every angle—technical, aesthetic, and commercial.
